Coeliac Friendly
Coeliac Disease is caused by and intolerance to gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, rye and even oats. It can be treated very successfully by excluding gluten from the diet.
The style of the menu makes it possible for most of the food on offer at The Lobster Pot to be coeliac friendly. My daughter, Jessica, is a Coeliac and I understand how it is possible to exclude gluten from your diet and also how difficult eating out can be.
All items on our menu marked with * are gluten free. Our salads and vegetables, including dressings are gluten free. Rice, mashed potato, potato cakes and new potatoes are all gluten free. We do not include sauté potatoes or chips as an option due to the possibility of cross contamination during the frying process.
